Stocks finished lower Friday after Fed chairwoman Janet Yellen said that an interest rate hike could be possible this year if the economy continues to improve.

The Dow lost 53 points, the Nasdaq fell one point and the S&P was down five points. American crude fell nearly 1.7 percent to $59.72.
