A man believed to have robbed a South Union Avenue business at gunpoint was arrested shortly after the incident by Bakersfield Police. The sheriff’s helicopter followed the suspect vehicle driven by 19-year-old Christopher Medina to a residence on Panama Lane near Monitor Street just after 9:00 Friday night, and officers caught him as he tried to run.
