A Bodfish man has been honored by the Bureau of Land Management for his superior volunteer work last year at the Keyesville Special Recreation Management Area outside of Lake Isabella.

Ted Brummer was given the prestigious “Making a Difference” award on Thursday for his visitor education, trash pick-up and historical work at the site.
