Bakersfield police say the two SWAT members who fatally shot a former corrections officer at the Vagabond Inn on Stockdale Highway and Interstate 5 have returned to full duty.

A review board says Kelly Williams and Daniel Champness were within departmental policy and state and federal guidelines when they opened fire at 36-year-old Robert Burdge in March.
