Sheriff’s detectives are calling the death of a 54-year-old woman at her home in a Wofford Heights trailer park suspicious, but aren’t saying why.

Kern County firefighters were called to the East Evans Road residence near Wofford Boulevard at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday. It’s not clear why they were called there.
