A Bakersfield pilot on his way to Sacramento walked away uninjured after crashing his single-propeller airplane into a fence in Fresno.

Mike Hutchinson had to make an emergency landing at Chandler Executive Airport after reporting engine trouble to air traffic controllers. The plane overshot the runway after coming in too fast.
