Bakersfield police have learned of a scam where a caller is telling people to give him $150 or face arrest.

They say a woman received a call Wednesday from a man posing as law enforcement, saying he’d be willing to clear a warrant if he’s given the money through a prepaid debit card.

BPD is urging people with more information on the con to call them at (661) 327-7111.
