The mother of Taft Union High School shooter Bryan Oliver has been dismissed as a party in a civil suit against the Taft Union High School District.

A judge ruled that Sheri Oliver’s one-year deadline to file the claim began the moment her son shot Bowe Cleveland in the chest in January 2013. Oliver says she wasn’t aware of the deadline.
