The family of a 63-year-old Oildale man killed in a hit-and-run north of Lamont is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible.

Michael Robertson was killed May 30 on Weedpatch Highway, north of Hermosa Road. The family says Robertson did not drive and made calls to Golden Empire Transit and a disconnected number before the incident.

Those with more information are urged to call the California Highway Patrol at (661) 868-4444.
