Heavy rain caused a landslide near Techachapi that closed westbound Highway 58 for hours and caused multiple accidents.

It happened two miles east of Broome Road at around 4 p.m. Friday.

Traffic had to be diverted at Highway 202. The National Weather Service says about two inches of rain fell on the area over an hour-long span.
