The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the man shot to death on Highway 46 near Wildwood Road in Lost Hills as 29-year-old Jose Leonel Chavez Ochoa of Wasco.

Sheriff’s investigators found Ochoa in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds at around 8 p.m. Sunday. No arrests have been made.
