The coroner’s office has identified a woman found dead in an apartment on McDonald Way and Belle Terrace in southwest Bakersfield as 25-year-old Jessica Hayes.

Hayes was found by BPD officers before 9 p.m. Tuesday. Detectives are calling the death suspicious, but aren’t saying anything further.
