The coroner’s office has confirmed that a swimmer pulled from Lake Isabella died from accidental drowning.

Sheriff’s investigators say 37-year-old Robert Garcia failed to make it back to shore from an island near the Auxiliary Dam boat launch last weekend. He was found Monday by search and rescue crews.
