Man Arrested For Using Fake Money Orders to Buy Car

A Taft man is jailed after the Kern County Sheriff’s Office says he used $2,000 in forged money orders to buy a car.

Investigators say 28-year-old Kenneth Dodds used four $500 MoneyGrams to make the purchase. He was arrested July 7 after the vehicle was found in a Taft Heights alley.
