Stocks dipped for the first time in four days after Fed chairwoman Janet Yellen told Congress that she expects a hike in interest rates by the end of the year.

The Dow lost three points, the Nasdaq dropped six and the S&P 500 gave up two. American crude plummeted 3.3 percent to $51.29.
