Bakersfield police are looking for a man who took cash and a wedding ring from an elderly couple.
He ordered the husband and wife to withdraw money from the Kern Federal Credit Union on Truxtun Avenue after claiming they struck his vehicle in a parking lot on July 3. He fled with the woman’s ring after being given the cash, according to a BPD press release.
The suspect is between 25 and 30 years old, is unshaven and has a heavy build. He was wearing a white shirt and brown shorts at the time of the incident.
Those with more information are being urged to call Det. Verion Voleman at (661) 326-3504 or the Bakersfield Police Department at (661) 327-7111.
