Haggen says it’s going to slash hours and lay off workers at its pacific northwest supermarkets.

The Washington chain bought three Albertsons on East Stockdale Highway, Panama Lane and White Lane in Bakersfield last year as part of a nearly 150-store expansion. It’s not clear how local workers will be affected.
