An oilfield worker in western Kern County has been killed in a fall from a platform. Kern County Fire performed CPR on the man this morning at Target Drilling Inc. on Panama Lane, east of Enos Lane, but he could not be revived. Investigators say the victim was wearing harness that was not tethered. CalOsha will investigate.
