The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has named the two deputies who opened fire at a man at a Hamilton Road trailer northwest of Rosamond.

Eight-year veteran John Coleman and seven-year veteran Chris Escobedo are on paid leave after Luis Macias was struck by one round Tuesday afternoon.

Macias is accused of brandishing a gun stolen from the Los Angeles Police Department.
