A legendary game show host is will emcee the West Kern Petroleum Summit in Taft.

Jeopardy! star Alex Trebek will be one of several guests of honor for the Oct. 16 event put on by the Taft College Foundation.

Energy entrepreneur T. Boone Pickens will deliver the keynote speech. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy will also appear.
