Kern County’s superior court branch in Lake Isabella is about to reopen after being shuttered by budget cuts two years ago.

The facility on Lake Isabella Boulevard will be open Wednesday mornings beginning Aug. 19. It will accept select filings and will take limited civil and small claims work.
