The Kern County  and Bakersfield Fire Department joined forces to put out a fully involved house fire

on the 1500 block of Ralston Street near Dr. Martin Luther King in East Bakersfield. Two people inside the home were able to get out without injury. The house was a total loss and the cause is under investigation.
