An explosion & fire woke the neighborhood around the 3500 block of Stine Rd in South West Bakersfield.

Four mobile home had fire damage, two were totally destroyed and 12 others had broken windows and minor damage. The people living in the two homes that burned to the ground were able to escape. One older man was transported to a local hospital. The blast was felt several blocks away. The entire mobile home park had the water shut off until crews were able to fix the utilities.
