Clinica Sierra Vista has accepted a big chunk of Affordable Care Act money that will be put toward operations at its new health facility in east Bakersfield.

Nearly $500,000 from the federal government will pay down about a quarter of first-year costs at the Baker Street Village Community Health Center.
