Three employees of military contractor BAE Systems in Mojave were among the five who died in a midair collision with another aircraft this weekend near San Diego. The Associated Press reports BAE employees Carlos Palos, John Kovach and Jeff Percy were on a return flight when their twin-engine Sabreliner jet collided with a slower Cessna 172. The cause of the crash is not clear.
