An mini mart clerk in Inyokern has received a $5,000 reward for alerting deputies to the location of accused killer Benjamin Ashley.

Gary Welfl alerted his sister to call 911 after selling supplies to the fugitive at Brady’s Mini Mart last Saturday. Deputies shot and killed Ashley a half-mile from the store.
