A man is recovering, and a suspected gunman is in custody after a shooting on Wernli Court in Arvin.

Police say 48-year-old Anthony Dunn approached 24-year-old Rafael Rubin and opened fire at around 9 a.m. Tuesday. Dunn told investigators that he shot Rubin at least twice out of self-defense.
