The CHP in the greater Bakersfield area arrested 36 people for DUI over the Labor Day weekend, which is seven more than last year’s holiday, but there were no fatal accidents. More officers were on patrol during the maximum enforcement period that went from 6pm Friday through 11:59pm Monday.
