A jet ski exploded while a 58-year-old man was riding it at Buena Vista Lake Tuesday afternoon. The Kern County Fire Department arrived and found the man suffering from major injuries, another jet skier brought the man into the docks after the explosion. He was airlifted to Kern Medical Center where he is being treated for his burn injuries.
