The Lake Isabella man accused of killing his girlfriend’s one year old daughter has been sentenced to 15-years-to-Life in prison. Deputy District attorney David Wilson says Jared Ramirez threw Sophialynn Taylor in January 2013, causing major injuries to her head and her eventual death. Ramirez pleaded no contest to 2nd degree murder.
