Kern County firefighters were alerted to two additional fires near Tehachapi on Thursday. The first one was held to an acre off Highway 223 east of Arvin, and the second fire in the Stallion Springs area was still being worked as of last night. Resources were sent to the area of Banducci Road and Matterhorn Drive.
