The woman who was found deceased inside an apartment on McDonald Way in southwest Bakersfield was the victim of a homicide. An autopsy found 25-year-old Navy veteran Jessica Hayes was strangled. Her body was found June 30th in her residence near Belle Terrace, but police have not made any arrests.
