Bakersfield police have identified the person who was arrested for hitting and killing a pedestrian on P Street as 26-year-old Dulce Miranda of Arvin. She was tracked down based on witness information that followed the accident near 3rd Street at 11:00 Saturday night. Charges include DUI, hit and run, and vehicular manslaughter. The victim was identified this afternoon as 26-year-old Deja Danae Vaughn of Bakersfield.
