VANDALS HIT DOZENS OF CARS

The Sheriff’s Office is joining the search for the culprits who vandalized more three a dozen vehicles in a part of Bakersfield that’s also patrolled by Bakersfield Police. Sheriff’s spokesman Ray Pruitt says the incidents happened early Sunday near Terrace Way and Belle Terrace, on Castro Lane and South Oleander Avenue, and on Cleveland Way and Paloma Street, and are in addition to about half a dozen similar incidents reported by BPD on Monday. All the vehicles had windows broken, the damage costs are not yet known.
