BPD SEEKS SHOOTING SUSPECT

Bakersfield Police need the public’s help to identify a suspect responsible for shooting two men back in August.The victims were walking on Eye Street near Chester when at 8:50p.m. August 23rd when a man pulled up in a grey car and fired. The same man is wanted in connection with a robbery at the All-Star Market on Fairfax Road.

Police have two suspects, both Hispanic males. The first is in his late 20s to early 40s, 6’0″ to 6’2″, between 300-350 lbs., black hair, and a possible goatee. The second is in his 20s, 5’6″, 180lbs., with black hair, brown eyes, and wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and white socks.

The BPD hopes releasing a photo of one of the suspects will help someone come forward and identify him. Anyone with information can call Detective Jeff Paglia at 661-326-3511.
