Kern County will be holding two meetings this Saturday to help residents in Mojave and Tehachapi prepare for the coming El Nino Storms.Representatives from Kern County Fire, the Sheriff’s office, Kern County Public Health, and more will talk about how to prepare for a flood, what to do in a flood emergency, and emergency resources available to the public.

The meetings will be held:

Mojave: Mojave Veterans Building 15580 O Street from 10-11a.m.

Tehachapi: Tehachapi Veterans Building 125 East F Street from 1-2p.m.
