The managers at Auto Club Famoso Raceway in McFarland have set up a Friends of Famoso website for people who want to be part of the rebuilding process, after a fire early Wednesday destroyed the old viewing tower and all their track safety gear. Race fans can buy a commemorative plaque for $100 that will be mounted on a Resurrection Wall during the rebuild, while tracking the progress. Friends of Famoso
