The motorcycle rider who died when he hit a car in southwest Bakersfield has been identified as 26-year-old Cody Lyn Williams. Police says he was heading west on District Blvd near Ashe Road around 8:30 Saturday night when a Kia Soul pulled out in front of him. The Kia driver stopped to help but it appears another vehicle also struck hit Williams and left the scene.
