KERN RIVER RANGERS NEED PUBLIC’S HELP

The Kern River Ranger District of the Sequoia National Forest is asking the public to weigh in on broken glass on the shores of the Kern River.Rangers say volunteers and staff spend too much time cleaning up the glass, which is difficult to see and can be a hazard to people and animals. They want to know if the public would like glass and glass bottles to be banned along the river and if it’s ever been a concern in people’s travels.
