Numerous vehicle and home burglaries in the Westchester neighborhood of downtown Bakersfield have residents rallying for change.

A public meeting is planned for 6:00p.m. tonight (February 15, 2016) to discuss the problem and how police are stepping up patrols. The gathering is being held at the Park at the Mark on 19th Street at H Street.
