Police in Bakersfield have arrested a man and a teenage boy on firearms and gang related charges after a routine traffic stop.

Cops pulled over a car on the corner of Madison Avenue and Watts Drive near Bakersfield Municipal Airport on Monday afternoon where they found a loaded firearm. Both were arrested for the gun and for gang related charges.

The name of the teenager has not been released.
