A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against two men for a hit and run accident that killed a teenage girl in Tehachapi.

The CHP says Isaac Macias was driving drunk with Ibrahim Gomes last October when he struck Leslie Balderrama along Highway 202 west of Sage Lane. The two men are alleged to have gotten out of the car after hitting the girl, stood over her body for a minute, and then fled the scene. They did not call 911.  No criminal charges have yet been filed against the men.

The Balderrama family is seeking damages, as well as funeral expenses and court costs.

Exelon Generation Company, LLC and First Solar, Inc., the employer of both men, are also named in the suit since because Balderrama was hit with a company car.
