The Kern County Coroner’s Office is working to identify a man whose body was discovered in an almond orchard in Wasco.

Farm workers found the corpse with obvious signs of trauma a half mile from Scofield Road near Highway 46 Friday morning. An autopsy is scheduled to determine his exact cause of death.
