The Healthgrades online medical service has named San Joaquin Community Hospital in Bakersfield one of America’s 100 best for cardiac care and coronary intervention.

The hospital was honored Wednesday for outstanding treatment of patients during emergencies like heart attacks. It’s the only medical center in Kern County to win those awards.
