The Department of Water Resources has increased the water allotment for State Water Project users to 30 percent.

That is up from 15 percent in January and 10 percent in December, and it is the first allotment to top 30 percent since 2013. But the agency warns a very dry February limited the water they could release, and it may still be reduced without more rain and snow.
