The CHP has arrested 28 year-old Abraham Maceil Jr. of Lamont for the death of a 30 year-old San Leandro woman, who was run down as she walked along Weedpatch Hwy southeast of Bakersfield.

The accident happened around 2:00 Sunday morning near Kernita Road. He faces charges of felony DUI and hit and run.
