Bakersfield police were called in to backup bail agents after man barricaded himself in a house on Sowerby Village Lane, just north of east Brundage Lane.

Officers came out at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon to help in apprehending the suspect, who reportedly had several warrants. A K-9 found him hiding in the back. He was taken into custody around 4p.m.
