The second of three Albertson’s that closed after the store was taken over by Haggen has reopened.

Wednesday was the first day of business for the Albertson’s on Panama Lane in south Bakersfield. The store on Coffee Road reopened in January, while the White Lane store is expected to open later this year. Haggen and Albertson’s got into a legal fight over pricing and disclosure, with Albertson’s buying back its stores when Haggen filed for bankruptcy.
