A mistrial has been declared in the case of a woman who was charged with first degree murder for her role in the deaths of two men at El Portero Nightclub in Arvin.

A juror stopped deliberating against Lourdes Olvera this week, telling the judge she felt “badgered” by others for having a different opinion. Olvera was charged with calling her boyfriend Juan Vega to shoot the two men who had been talking to her at the bar in June. She was also charged with intimidating a witness.

A new trial begins March 8th, while Vega’s case is ongoing.
