Jury deliberations are underway in the trial of a corrections officer accused of molesting a female inmate at the Kern County Juvenile Facility.

Cesar Navejar is charged with three felonies including sexual battery for the incident that prosecutors say happened in the girl’s cell in September 2014. Navejar is on paid leave until the trial is over.
